LEDVANCE strengthens its management team with Dr. Markus Emmert
New leadership structure promotes customer proximity, digital solutions and the expansion of project business in Europe
LEDVANCE, one of the world’s leading providers of general lighting solutions for professional
users and consumers, is continuing to develop its customer-centric organisation across Europe.
Key priorities include expanding its B2B and project business, working even more closely with
wholesale partners, and making targeted investments in the digitalisation of the customer
journey. These measures will enable LEDVANCE to respond even more effectively to customer
needs, deepen existing partnerships and drive long-term growth.
As part of this organisational development, Dr Markus Emmert was appointed Managing
Director of LEDVANCE, in addition to his role as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), with effect from
1 August 2026. He will continue to report directly to CEO Qinghuan Sun. Dr Emmert has been
with LEDVANCE since the company was founded in 2016 and brings extensive experience from
the lighting industry, including from his time at OSRAM. Following his role as Finance Director
Europe, he assumed the position of CFO on 1 October 2023 and has since been a member of
the LEDVANCE Management Board. He also leads LEDVANCE Digital Future (LDF), the
company’s global transformation programme. LDF brings together the ongoing development of
digital processes, systems and services with the aim of simplifying collaboration with customers
and partners and accelerating LEDVANCE’s digital growth.

Jue Wang, Executive Senior Vice President at LEDVANCE, will leave the company at her own
request on 30 September 2026. Since joining LEDVANCE in 2020, she has made a valuable
contribution to the company’s development, first as CFO and most recently as Executive Senior
Vice President. LEDVANCE thanks Jue Wang for her many years of leadership and her
significant contribution to the development of the organisation.
