the challenge

Güvercinlik Valley is a highly protected natural site, requiring every installation step to preserve the rock formations and the delicate ecosystem. Drilling or touching the surfaces was strictly forbidden, and the uneven terrain, lack of infrastructure and long lighting distances increased technical complexity. At the same time, the lighting design needed to enhance the landscape without disturbing wildlife or altering its historic character.

the solution

LEDVANCE, together with Arem Aydınlatma, developed a lighting solution fully aligned with the protected status of the valley. Custom soil-mounted bases enabled installation without touching the rock formations, while above-ground cabling preserved the natural terrain. Asymmetric 45×140° optics and 3000 K warm light ensured controlled, uniform illumination. With 300 luminaires supplied rapidly from European stock, the project was executed efficiently within a 45-day schedule.
