Brøndby Stadium — an iconic venue for top-flight Danish football and major events — now features a robust, energy-efficient and flexible lighting solution, optimised for operational efficiency, comfort and the overall spectator experience.

The Challenge

Brøndby Stadium needed to upgrade lighting in several core areas. The kitchen, lounge spaces, fan shop, tactics room and façade all required a lift that was energy efficient, flexible and low maintenance. Each zone had distinct requirements, and in many cases light levels had to be adjusted to different usage scenarios.

LEDVANCE delivered dedicated LED lighting solutions for each stadium zone.

Kitchen: 32 Panel Protect luminaires with low glare and Multi Lumen, providing comfortable light with adjustable output and color temperature—ideal for day to day operations.
Players’ lounge: 8 Panel Louver luminaires in black.
Tactics room: RGB LED strips running around seating, along stair treads and beneath the screen—all mounted in aluminum profiles.
Fan shop: 25 Tracklight Spot Zoom Dim luminaires with mechanical zoom and high color rendering to showcase merchandise at its best.
Façade: The finishing touch—two custom-built Floodlight ARENA fixtures that bathe the exterior in Brøndby’s signature blue.
